On the way up to Fernley, NV; we stopped off a little passed Donner Summit to let the dog take a bathroom break and stretch out his legs. The first time we exposed him to the snow, about 2 years ago, he didn't seem to care for it much, he just wanted back in the car. I think this time we kept the car warm enough and his jacket stayed on so he was welcoming the freshness of the snow and cold air. We were making snowballs and he was trying to catch them. You would have thought he was a dog in a doggie biscuit store! He didn't look totally surprised when we "bumped" into his friends at the game but he appreciated all the thought and work that went into his surprise :)<br />On another note...today we made him a cake. It was from scratch and I had to improvise a little for some of the ingredients. I just took the cake out of the oven and I have to say...looks pretty good!
